Costs Drafting History: Rachel started working on Criminal Billing in 1992 and Family & Civil Billing in 2015.
Rachel started working in the Criminal Department in 1992 doing various task as well as billing. From 2000 her main role was dealing with Crown Court billing which included Legal Aid Litigator bills, Graduated fee bills, Court of Appeal bills and POCA bills.
In 2015 she moved to the billing team in admin and started preparing Legal Aid Family billing to include Bills for Court, hourly rate bills and fixed fees. She also dealt with Legal Aid Housing hourly rate bills as well as still dealing with Crown Court billing.
Rachel processed the bills through CCMS or CCDCS (Crown Court Digital Case System) and dealt with them until they were paid.
Profile: Rachel previously worked for a Solicitors firm for 28 years before moving to Bidwell Henderson. Rachel has a little dog so likes to go on plenty of walks. She is very close to her family and has a 2 year old great nephew who she looks after at the weekends. She likes to socialise with her friends and family which usually involves going for a meal or sitting in a beer garden!

Claim to fame: Unfortunately Rachel doesn’t have a claim to fame but what you may not know about her is she is a self-employed transcriber which involves preparing transcripts of DVD’s and audio tapes for various organisations including Doncaster Children’s Services.
