What’s it like working at Bidwell Henderson?

BHCC is a fast paced environment where you will be expected to assist where necessary. You will get a range of different queries on a daily basis and you have to be ready to tackle anything head on, as long as you have a go and try your best you will be OK

What attracted you to the advert?

After coming up to my third year exams at University I really did not know what I wanted to do, except for the fact I liked Law but didn’t want to do the LPC. When I saw the advert the location was really good for me as its in my home town. I was really impressed with the fact that a relatively small business had such big clients and was drawn in by the importance of the work that BHCC do

What was the test like?

I was apprehensive at the start but as long as you do your research and make the effort to learn about BHCC and their values you will be fine

Tell us about your favourite work day so far

Probably the day we hit some major targets when we least expected too, such a great feeling to know what you can achieve as a team

What do you think about the job?

I really enjoy the job and the role I am in, I have a varied and busy role with great progression opportunities

What was your biggest fear before starting at Bidwell Henderson?

Definitely being given responsibility to correspond with some of the best legal aid lawyers in the country and managing my own workload

What advice would you give someone applying for this year’s graduate position?

Make sure you research BHCC thoroughly, some people apply for jobs blindly and knowing your stuff will really impress us and make you stand out
