Further to the Government’s latest coronavirus recommendation regarding non-essential contact with others, we thought it important to let you know our plans for the coming days and weeks. Our priority is the protection of our best asset, our team. Please be assured that our robust business continuity plans mean that we have prepared for all eventualities. We are in a strong position to be able to maintain the same standards of service that you have been accustomed to.
We have spent the last couple of weeks strengthening and testing contingency plans to ensure we can enable all team members to work remotely and continue to provide full support to you. Our IT and phone systems are set up to enable all staff to work and communicate with you remotely. Data files will continue to be located on secure offsite servers and we are accessing them and our office servers via a Virtual Private Network with 2 factor authentication. Any case management system based files remain fully accessible to us as usual.
Please be assured that we are 100% committed to maintaining business as usual, to ensure you continue to receive the highest quality, seamless service without disruption, wherever possible. We aim to ensure that any changes to our processes will be kept to a minimum and you shouldn’t notice any change but if you have any concerns with how these arrangements may impact on services, please do get in touch. If there are any changes to your business planning/processes which you wish to discuss with us to enable your costs drafting and billing to continue then please do get in touch also.
Collection and delivery of files / Using the DX
Courier collections and deliveries to and from our head office in Alfreton will continue as normal until further notice. You can continue to arrange a courier via email@example.com. The DX will continue to be monitored daily during the working week by our skeleton staff.
Files which would normally be courier delivered to our Newcastle office will be delivered to our Alfreton office from today. We will maintain a level of skeleton staff working in the Alfreton office to cover the courier and the DX. Please be assured that the work will continue to be allocated to the Newcastle team. Please send any work in the DX to DX 16906 Alfreton.
Accessing case management systems

We specialise in working with all types of case management systems remotely (including Tikit P4W, Alpha Law, Solace, Citrix, Proclaim etc). We specialise in accessing case management systems remotely via secure VPN / RDC. This saves our clients the time and cost involved in printing, scanning or delivering files to us and means we can allocate files quicker. Our Legal cashiering, Uploading, Processing and Management of legal aid cases and High Costs Cases service
For all clients who use the below four services please be assured that our robust business continuity plans mean that we have prepared for all eventualities:
- Checking/Reviewing, Uploading and processing CCMS e-bills
- Dealing with bills of costs through the whole court process including the new CE-Filing and onto uploading and processing through CCMS
- Uploading and processing each stage of a high costs case through to payment and any appeals necessary.
- Remote legal cashiering, BACS payments, payroll etc.
We have a team of Processing Administrators, cashiers and Managers who will continue to process work through to payment. We do not anticipate any downtime in relation to these services.
