The Vision of Bidwell Henderson

A progressive, reliable, knowledgeable and innovative firm of Costs Draftsmen, one to be fully committed to the provision of a diverse range of services of the highest quality and integrity, one which is fully committed to the legal community. Such was the vision of Rebecca Bidwell, Ann Henderson and Mark Bidwell in 2014 at the genesis of Bidwell Henderson Costs Consultants.

 

The Beginning

As very experienced, proficient and empathetic Costs Draftsmen, they understood what was required to make their vision a reality. Within a few short months they had recruited the first of many high caliber Costs Draftsmen, and during that period they had also enlisted the talents of Gemma Vallance to navigate their fledgling accounts department, so fundamental to facilitating the investment and flow required to develop and enhance the scale of our service.

 

The Now

We are immensely proud to announce that we now have more than 55 team members, and their individual qualities are what drives our collective quality as legal service providers. They are our work place culture, a lovely group, working in a happy and a mutually approachable environment which has steadily evolved and strengthened over the years.

 

Recognition

We have enjoyed the great satisfaction of becoming an award winning firm of Costs Draftsmen, having achieved the status of ‘Best Employee Development Programme (In-house)’ category at the UK Company Culture Awards, and were short listed for ‘The Access Legal Modern Law Awards 2023’. However, more than that, we have the even greater satisfaction of knowing that the initial vision of our founders – Rebecca, Ann and Mark – has been, is being, and will continue to be, realized. The positive feedback from our many clients is, of course, the greatest recognition of all.

For a more personal insight into the workplace culture that has been curated, our marketing team has spoken to our people from a range of departments; they include Rebecca Bidwell (Managing Director), Katie Stewart (Team Manager), Roman White (IT & Systems Coordinator), Gemma James & Emily Bird (Legal Costs Administrators) and Emily Clayton (Trainee Costs Draftsperson).
